29 Aug 2012 - Padstow RNLI Lifeboat called to capsized yacht.

The volunteers onboard the RNLI Tamar class all-weather lifeboat from Padstow were called away from a routine exercise tonight (Wednesday 29 August) to go to the aid of the crew of a capsized yacht. The crew were on a routine weekly exercise off Harlyn Bay, Padstow when they picked up an emergency mayday distress call shortly after 6.00pm from a 9-metre yacht, which was reported to have capsized half mile off Trevose Head. Abandoning the exercise the lifeboat crew headed straight to the casualty.
