Padstow RNLI lifeboat launched to reports of an injured jet skier

The Padstow RNLI all-weather lifeboat launched on Tuesday 8 August at 2.35pm to reports of a jet skier with a possible back injury, just off Porthcothan.
The volunteer crew arrived on scene approximately half a mile west of Porthcothan and launched the Y class lifeboat to get to the casualty's location. The man was then transferred to a stretcher and lifted onto the all-weather lifeboat.
